Moorilla Tennis - Sensational Sunnies Winner

As many would have seen from our TV ads on Southern Cross bewteen the 9th and 16th January, we again ran the Optomeyes Sensational Sunnies Competition during the Moorilla Tennis International at the Domain Tennis Centre.

The competition again was fierce, not only on the court, but amongst the 12 Sensational Sunnies finalists, with the judges having a very difficult time selecting a winner. In the end it was Brenden Bird (image at right) who took out the Grand Prize consisting of two tickets to both the Mens and Womens Final at the Australian Open, with accommodation and flights supplied by RACT Travelworld. So congratualtions Brenden and hope you enjoyed that epic 5 setter final - what a game!

Thanks and congratulations also to our 12 finalists, who didn't go away empty handed. Each finalist received a pair of Rudy Project sunglasses courtesy of Optomeyes to the value of $300.

In addition to the Sensational Sunnies Promotion, we also ran the Optomeyes "Eyes on the Ball Competition", where three balls were hit into the crowd after each main draw game on centre court, and the person in the crowd who caught the ball with the Optomeyes "Eye" on it instantly won themselves a ticket to the Moorilla International Final and a $50 Optomeyes gift voucher.

Optomeyes has had a proud ongoing relationship with this great Tasmanian event, and we look forward to continuing the association into what is shaping up to be an exciting road ahead with the recent announcement of $2.25m in funding for facilitiy upgrades. Here's to a big 2010!
