Lord Mayor officially opens 140 Collins St

On the 23rd of November Optomeyes officially opened the doors of the new flagship practice in the city, in the former Fuller's Bookshop site at 140 Collins St. This replaces the former location in the long-standing sandstone building at 135 Macquarie St.
We were very pleased to share this occasion with several of our valued clients, suppliers and other members of the Hobart business, arts, sports, and health care community.
The Lord Mayor of Hobart Rob Valentine kindly cut the ribbon and entertained all with his engaging speech and anecdotes from being a patient of Ian Bourchier's for many years.
The team are excited to be working in the new space, which is bigger and better in several ways with a brand new modern fit out, more consulting rooms, more digital equipment and lovely big windows to allow that Hobart summer sun to pour through!
Hobart jazz outfit the Cake Walking Babies provided the tunes for the evening, Olive Tree catering the tasty snacks, and eyewear brand experts Robyn Wren from General Optical and Chanh Le Huy from Mimo were on-hand to talk about the latest ranges from Emilio Pucci and Silhouette eyewear.
If you haven't had the chance to drop in for a peek please do and see the recently added Oroton range of sunglasses for summer!
